Rachel Taran is a Corporate Project Planner at HandsOn Twin Cities. In her role, she works to connect organizations around the Twin Cities in order to meet community needs. She’s excited to be part of the Corporate Projects team!

Rachel comes to HandsOn with 12 years of experience teaching high school math. Her favorite part of teaching was making a difference in the lives of her students, so a transition to HandsOn was the perfect fit for her to continue making a difference in the community in so many other meaningful ways!

When she’s not working, Rachel loves reading, crafting, and cuddling with her two rescue cats, Venus and Serena. Her current craft obsessions are crocheting and cross-stitching and she typically has several works in progress going at any given time to keep her busy. She also enjoys exploring the Twin Cities and all that it has to offer.
