Matt is the Corporate Project Planner at HandsOn Twin Cities, where he works closely with organizations around the Twin Cities to fulfill community needs.

Matt is originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, moving to Minneapolis in 2019. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, focusing on Pre-Law at Black Hills State University located in Spearfish, South Dakota. After graduating college, he spent four years touring the country as the frontman for his band. He has worked in the nonprofit sector as a Match Support Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills, and as a Youth Program Coordinator for Dream of Wild Health before joining HandsOn Twin Cities. He’s passionate about making a positive difference through community engagement and service, and works to inspire, equip, and mobilize our volunteers.

Outside of work, Matt is involved with the Twin Cities music scene, various gaming communities, spending time with his friends and family, and finding ways to entertain his two large dogs, Sage and Nala.
